Celebration of the Downtown Gresham’s Memory Wall & Presenting to the City

Artist Lee Lauritzen has come to the end of the journey through Downtown Gresham’s long history.  Since the City’s inception, Historic Downtown Gresham has been the centerpiece of community life.  The wall depicts the myriad of vibrant and diverse experiences we have enjoyed since it began.  Come celebrate Historic Downtown Gresham and this important public art project completion.  Saturday, October 21, 2017, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm  Art fun, music, cookies, and prizes make for a special beginning for years of enjoying Historic Downtown Gresham’s Memory Wall.

Downtown Gresham is a centerpiece of our community life since the City’s inception. What better way to celebrate and tell the story of Historic Downtown Gresham then through a mural depicting it in the myriad of vibrant and diverse experiences we have enjoyed since it began. The mural enhances the City’s exciting arts and cultural infrastructure, blossoming with sculptures, fountains, and music…and now Art on the Wall.
