Mixed Media – third to twelfth grade

Prerequisite: No art experience needed only an interest to try.

Do you enjoy making art with various materials and mediums? This four day class is for you! Students are exposed to quality art materials, fine art techniques, art history, styles of art, art culture and master artists. These sessions are packed full of multi-media learning, music, exploring various mediums / materials, and project based to help students pursue art in a genre yet explore their own style. Unique projects daily, take home resources, fun learning in a relaxed environment paced to meet the individual artist abilities and learning style, inventive ways for creating art focusing on;

• discovering various art lessons building skills in drawing, painting, reuse materials and more,
• experimenting with mediums to connect student’s own intuitive art making expression,
• creating a personal art portfolio of take away projects,
• learning about and applying elements of art and principles of design.
