Open Studio – Mixed Media

Prerequisite: No art experience needed / Student ages 6 to 18 (first through twelfth grade)

Do you enjoy making art with various materials and mediums? This four day class is for you! Students are exposed to quality art materials, fine art techniques, art history, styles of art, art culture and master artists. These sessions are packed full of multi-media learning, music, exploring various mediums / materials, and unique projects to help students pursue art in a genre yet explore their own style. Unique projects daily, take home resources, fun learning in a relaxed environment paced to meet the individual artist abilities and learning style, inventive ways for creating art focusing on;

• including sample lessons: engraving, printmaking, meet the master, and cultural project,
• learning about and applying elements and principles of design,
• experimenting with mediums to connect their own intuitive art making expression,
• creating a personal portfolio of take away projects,
• Cost per student $110.00 includes supplies and materials.
