Show Description:

Some people think of an experience as a journey, while others think of it as a trip or a destination. How can one’s life experience encourage, inspire, and evoke their creative aspiration? As artists, we sometimes consider the conceptual process of making art as a journey. Art
doesn’t have to have a preplanned destination it is a creative endeavor that is constantly developing, it is on a constant continuum.
How has the pandemic changed your life’s journey? How can we continue to evolve as we all learn to embrace the “new normal?” We invite you to artistically capture the most meaningful expression artistically of your
life’s voyage. The show will include works from a wide range of media for example painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, digital art, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, glass, and other 3-D works.

Artist Participation

Preference will be given to Gresham and East Multnomah County artists but we may include the surrounding metro area depending on number of submissions. Artists are limited to exhibiting in three (3) shows per year. Artwork is to remain in the Center for the Arts Little Theater for the duration of the exhibit. Number of submissions Artist may enter four (4) pieces for consideration per show and must adhere to the Prospectus and Submission Process. Artists may submit their work for consideration via the Submission Form located below.
